• Proof, starring Ayo Edebiri and Don Cheadle, is a revival of David Auburn's Pulitzer and Tony Award winning play. In Proof, Catherine, the brilliant but restless daughter of renowned mathematics professor Robert, is thrust into turmoil when a notebook containing a revelatory proof is discovered after his death. As debate erupts over its true authorship, Catherine must confront the power of legacy, and the cost of proving herself.

• August Wilson’s Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, a 1988 play by August Wilson, part of his ten-play Century Cycle, set in a 1911 Pittsburgh boarding house during the Great Migration, exploring themes of identity, memory, and the African American experience through characters seeking new lives while haunted by the past, particularly Herald Loomis, who was illegally enslaved by the historical figure Joe Turner. Golden Globe® winner Taraji P. Henson (Hidden Figures, “Empire”) makes her Broadway debut alongside Cedric the Entertainer (CBS’ “The Neighborhood”), Tony Award® nominee Joshua Boone (Skeleton Crew, The Outsiders), and Tony Award winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson (Lackawanna Blues).

In addition to the theater experience, you’ll have free time in Manhattan to explore at your own pace. Whether you choose to visit iconic landmarks, shop, dine, take in museums, or simply soak up the city’s energy, the day is yours to enjoy.

- The New York City Bus Trip is a bundled package. It cannot be separated. Individuals tickets and/or hotel rooms will not be sold.

3) In Person: You can drop off a payment at our office in Norfolk, Virginia with the Receptionist from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our office is located at 500 East Main Street, Norfolk, Virginia (BB&T building in downtown Norfolk). We are located on the 16th floor inside of the Gather co-working space. Your payment (money order/cashier’s check) must be in a seal envelope with the following information written on the front of the envelope: The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club #1667. Inside the envelope, please include a letter with your payment noting the following information: Name of the Attendee(s), Contact phone number, Contact email address, Contact mailing address. We will mail you a receipt. We do not accept cash or personal checks for payments made in person. Please call or email us when you are planning to drop off a payment.  

We DO NOT accept payment by phone.  

All payments are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another trip/tour. However, an existing reservation can be changed to another person. Please see the "Name Change Policy" section below.  

If you opt into a payment plan, please pay accordingly to the schedule. If more than two consecutive payments are missed, your reservation(s) will be cancelled and any payment(s) made will be forfeited.   Always contact us if you are unable to meet payment deadlines.  

Pricing is based on room occupancy (the number of people staying in a room together).  If your roommate cancel or removed from the trip due to missing more than two consecutive payments, a price adjustment will incur to cover the remaining hotel cost.  You are allowed to replace your roommate.  Please see the "Name Change Policy" below.

No refunds are available once the trip/tour commences. In the event of a no-show by a paid attendee, no refund shall be given.

We STRONGLY recommend you consider purchasing travel insurance.  We do not offer refunds. Purchasing travel insurance is a way to protect your travel investment dollars in the event the unexpected happens.

If you need to cancel, you must notify us in writing by email (info@thepacktravelclub.com). Payments will not be refunded for cancellations. 

However, if a trip is cancelled by the coordinator (The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club) due to lack of interest or unforeseen circumstances you will receive a full refund.  

A name change is the cancellation of one guest and the addition of a new guest on a booking. Applicable cancellation penalties will be assessed to the original guest (owner of the booking) plus a $50 administration fee to make a name change.  The new guest will be subject to pay any outstanding balance that was not paid for by the original guest. 

The original guest must send written response via email to info@thepacktravelclub.com requesting a name change and provide the following information of the new guest

Only the original guest can request the name change.  The ownership of the reservation will be transferred once the original guest has provide the new guest information and have paid the $50 administration fee. 

Travel insurance is offered by a third party, Allianz Global Assistance, not The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club. Plans underwritten by BCS Insurance Company, Jefferson Insurance Company or Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company and Affiliated Companies, depending on insured's state of residence and plan type. Plan(s) may not be available to residents of all states.

By purchasing a ticket to our trips, tour, and events, you understand and  acknowledge that a risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.  In attending our trips, tours, and events, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and waive, release, and discharge The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club and all of their affiliates, employees, contractors, staff, and associates from any and all liability for any illness or injury due to COVID-19 exposure.

Board your spacious, video, and restroom equipped motorcoach and set off to Jersey City, New Jersey, where we’ll check in to our hotel and take time to refresh.

Then, we’ll head into Manhattan for an evening of dining and exploration on your own. You may choose from countless restaurants, iconic neighborhoods, or simply enjoy the vibrant energy of the city.

The evening concludes with a powerful theater experience as we attend August Wilson’s Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, a moving and thought-provoking production that sets the tone for an unforgettable New York City getaway.

Come and Gone running Time: 2 hrs, 30 mins (1 intermission). Seats will be located in the Rear Mezzanine. 

After the performance, we’ll return to the hotel for a restful overnight stay.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we’ll return to New York City for a full day to explore at your own pace. This free time allows you to design your own NYC experience—whether that includes sightseeing, shopping, visiting museums, enjoying local cuisine, or relaxing in one of the city’s many iconic spaces.

Saturday evening, we’ll gather for another highlight of the trip: the Broadway play Proof, starting Ayo Edebiri and Don Cheadle.

Proof running Time: 2 hrs (1 intermission). Seats will be located in the Mezzanine. 

After a night of fun in the Big Apple, we’ll head back to our hotel.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we’ll depart home. A perfect time to chat with your friends about all the fun things you’ve done, the great sights you’ve seen and where your next group trip will take you!
